Are we sure he's actually the White Lotus leader, and not just some dude who was in charge of that group of three people? I haven't seen the episodes he appears in in a while, but I don't remember at any point that they specifically stated that he was the leader. Just because the wiki says it doesn't make it true, people could be making assumptions. I wouldn't be even remotely surprised if they give the role to someone else next season, because that guy is too generic and unused.
