And I've not been strictly playing for the Town, I've been mainly aiming at roleblockers because roleblockers are annoying as hell and slow down the game (which in turn decreases my chances of surviving until the end, regardless of which side ends up winning). On the off chance that Words was indeed a sane cop, considering he'd directly commented that he was suspicious of me, I was also blocking him to prevent his investigation, which would've blown my fakeclaim as Bulbasaur and possibly revealed me as a neutral. Southperry has a horrible history of lynching neutrals that I just did not want to deal with.[/COLOR]
I also think Luv is extraordinarily scummy, but even still, disabling a killer and a roleblocker is much more beneficial to you than disabling two roleblockers. What if the person you bound got killed? You would die as well, rendering your attempts worthless.
Alternately, you could target Luv directly and have him kill a roleblocker, if you're playing just for yourself. Then you could use mega drain to off him, speeding up the game.
I don't want to lynch you just because you're neutral, I want to lynch you because you pose a large threat to the town. The fact that you can disable many of our power roles, while holding the ability to Mega Drain our strongest roleblocker at will is pretty threatening. And if the mafia kill works BTA style (which I believe it does), we can just neutralize Luv and lynch him on the morrow.
Also recently we've been pretty nice to neutrals who were nice to us. Like a huge pile of claimed neutrals survived BTA's game (CJ, and TheBirds (we thought he was neutral)), and we've left Cakes alone because he's pretty harmless (honorary town
). The only ones that were lynched were because they were sketchy as all hell (CJ in your game, Chaz in BTA's) or Shidoshi because of convenience and sub nonsense.
