If it's not a competitive game, why do you care if people are actually at their computers holding down the attack button? It's not like this is such a widespread issue that it's preventing any players that choose not to play the game that way from playing the game.

I don't care, hence why I said ranks don't mean sh`it anymore. Did you read my post? I don't think you tried. Anyway, yeah, the problem isn't that people are competitive, it's because they're own work gets less value. That and cheaters typically are considered immoral and wrong in general.

The only people I can see that have any kind of legitimate complaint about people afk'ing to level are people who are actively trying to get leaderboard ranks that can't attack while afk. If you don't think that's a legitimate number of people, I don't think this is a legitimate problem.

The minority cares little about ranks, they just don't want their ranks flooded with players who cheated to get there. That isn't exactly a competitive issue, it's a moral issue.
