Sounds like the problem is the idiotic classes developed and the architecture not keeping up with it.

Dude, ranks mean jack sh`it now especially since quest lines literally feed you to level 100. This game was a tiny bit competitve when 200 meant something, but now? Pfft, rank has no merit, fortunately they made a separate ranking system to honor the original 200's, but come on now.

I don't think that's entirely fair... The top rank spots up to level 250 would have been 'competitive' if the race to level 250 was fair from the beginning, but instead it's been a complete disaster. Unleashed started off with level 200+ being able to purchase 2x EXP coupons, then Warrior Grounds was nerfed and 2x EXP coupons were removed, then there was a huge dupe exploit which flooded many of the more populated servers with 1.5x EXP boxes, then the ridiculous 40 level party gap/full party play EXP issue happened, then it was patched... it's been awful. If that stuff hadn't happened and the race was 'fair', I imagine people would care a lot more about botting being a serious concern for legitimate high level players. As it stands a lot of people either don't care and have accepted that they're only shooting for level 250 for their own personal reasons as opposed to doing it for a 'respectable' rank, or have simply joined in and are now botting too because Nexon hasn't done anything to combat it.
