I think my point was a little lost because I was on a 15 minute break, but maybe I can clarify a bit better now.
Yes, regions is what I meant. And I am aware that GMS is not KMS, I do know Maplers that have quit maplestory, but still keep up with the lore through other maplers. We live in a day and age where you don't have to level to 200 to know what happens. I was fully aware of Luminous's plot before GMS got him thanks to a Korean Wiki. All the same, just because the population dies out, this doesn't mean people stop liking the story. That's a fact because I know Maplers that fit that bill to a T. Alternatively, you have people that don't have a nexon account at all writing things for Maplestory. Why? They can find it all online. Just because it's not mabinogi level deep in lore doesn't mean people can't enjoy a simple storyline. The anime industry should have taught you this.
