How many people are REALLY still playing Maplestory?

And yet people still compare the two when it comes to the "battle of the games".

You can claim 10% of the population if you want, but you know there's something up when even the WoW players are saying the game is dying. It was simply higher up, so it will take it's time to fall down, but the effects are all the same. Every game is going to suffer the fate of Maplestory. Games are made, then played, then left as a memory. Good or bad can be your own choice, but I personally choose to enjoy the ride.

So you concede maplestory has suffered a significant population drop and your only method of deflecting is taking the most successful game of history as an example of something that has deteriorated? Even proportionally the fall isn't as dramatic as maplestory.

You are a minority in a game who's entire gameplay has been changed so drastically majority of the players left.
