23 characters, but there's technically only like 7 or 8 branches that allow 3 choices, maplestory has an entire new branch almost every frekin time. In fact I'd be less annoyed if they didn't allow CS transfers (yes I'm aware they had a single event that allowed but still that is frekin stupid)
