edit: fucking post of the year sorry guys......
Sorry, maybe I'm tired but I don't really understand what you mean by "... an easy choice to get rid of a mafia or someone that would just end up confusing us". Where did mafia come into play in that sentence? Shidoshi didn't confess to being mafia. Could you clarify that?
Um, you missed a few Words (eyy) there. Assuming you believe that HP and Hyper are town. Simple's really been coming off as suspiciously silent to me, but I'm waiting on him to start doing something. If nothing happens today I am voting him tomorrow, I guarantee it. Day 4 is not the time to be silent. Honestly they should be much more active day 3 (and day 2, bloody hell) as well, but I'm willing to risk being a sucker to let the guy have a go.
At this point I feel like you're just going to target the bandwagon starter, regardless of who it is. y0y0's right in that a majority of this game has been theorising (I admit I'm partially at fault, I'm generally uncomfortable voting for ANYONE to be killed but I want to help town so I post theories) and it's a slow game in terms of scum hunting. I don't like that you're trying to 'kill this game off' in a sense; we need to encourage starting votes, not condemn them.
While he's leading to the wrong lynches, if the mafia is careful it'd be a natural result that we're lynching the wrong people. I understand that it's a gut feeling but all I see is that it implies that the mafia is trying not to pull a digital mafia fallout like the last game, where once one person fell the rest followed.
He's a chaotic player, yes, but his presence if he's a townie is pivotol during the later days and he shouldn't be lynched because he causes trouble. As a compromise, we should be leaving him alive but take posts where he has little evidence with handfuls of salt. I personally really hate his suspicion posts, too much gut feeling is being practically psychic at that point, which is why I'd rather just stop him from doing any harm to the town while keeping him around. Which is why I disagree with your vote, even if the game becomes easier without his chaos.
50% as in chance or effectiveness? I was stopped completely from using spores on luv (I couldn't "spread" them) during night 1.
... I explained this during day 2; in the spoiler box thing called "dat kyrastri logic". To summarise and add onto:
- I believe in minimising potential damage rather than fixing existing problems. (no offense). Like I said to Words, just because you're chaotic doesn't mean that you can't be useful to us; by minimising your impact on the game (minimising the effects of chaos I guess), we can solve this and reduce the impact of potential harm. If you're a mafioso, it still works because we're hindering you.
- Town roleblockers are a dime a dozen, and we can't confirm whether your paralysis will actually work 100% of the time or not. Guessing that paralysis is the same regardless of application, my role has the potential to be nearly identical to yours but it also has the potential to be useful.
- I don't believe one bit that you're Pikachu. The OP said that Pokemon here are fighting to be in Hoenn, but why would the mascot of Pokemon ever need to fight? I believe that you're an electric type, but I don't think you're Pikachu. Pikachu would be way too innocent a claim and I believe that that is exactly what you're aiming for.
- I wasn't sure during day 2 what my ability did. Nothing you had done during the second day alleviated my view of you (I no longer thought you were scummy, though), and nobody came off to me as more suspicious. That's why I tried to target you again, and why I sent my PM in so early; because I knew who I wanted to target.
haha :3 I won't take it personally! And that was some stellar guessing from my grass breadcrumb... I originally meant it as in "I eat grass", but now that I think about it parasect might not eat grass... so I guess you did well :U
Honestly I'm pretty suss of it too... But then again it'd make more sense if I can do other stuff with spore and have a CD on it, rather than a plain roleblock with a cooldown. Meow is a pure roleblocker and she could use it every night; it'd be pretty stupid to give me the same thing but with a CD.
Words Wrote:Yesterday Olsi was lynched and it all started because of his reaction to Luv's power and we're still discussing whether he's lying or not. That's why I'm thinking that voting Shidoshi and keeping Luv alive is something mafia would do. And I'm not sure I buy the "logistics" thing, Luv was pretty acting pretty scummy day 1 and it seemed like an easy choice to get rid of a mafia or someone that would just end up confusing us.I thought it was because of Olsi's reaction to Verr, who defended Luv. There is only one reason why I would justify defending luv, and the reason why I haven't voted for Verr yet is because I'm waiting for his response to people wanting to push him. There is not much that will convince me of his innocence right now, but I know he's in between a rock and a hard place right now because of it.

Words Wrote:The only ones that have voted two days are HolyPie, Olsi, Simple, HyperMug, you and me. I know that I'm town, Olsi was town and I'm inclined to believe HolyPie and Hypermug (not too sure though). Simple seems to vote near the end of the day and you're the one who starts votes and could be leading things somewhere that are not beneficial.

Words Wrote:As for people who haven't voted at all both days, it's only CakesxD who has been claiming weird stuff, meow who is being pretty random too, Polantaris who so far seems to be town but I could be wrong and y0y0y0shi0. About him, it's the start of his post yesterday that I quote below. Anyone can act "helpful/useful" without actually being it, he's not tunneling like Meta did day 1, but he's being helpful while also leading to the wrong lynchs. I guess it's a gut feeling and not something I can prove easily with his posts.Note that Polantaris voted Olsi during Day 2.

Words Wrote:I don't know if I worded it wrong but that's not what I meant at all. It's the other way around, I think Luv being alive is beneficial to the mafia whether he's mafia or not. Yesterday's lynch was because of a misunderstanding between two people who I believe are townies (at least one is confirmed now) regarding Luv's claim, power and day 1 scummyness... while the mafia could sit back and watch us kill either one, and today we're still wondering if he's really mafia or not.... okay I can't interpret posts :c (or you can't word them! >:C)

y0y0y0y0shi0 Wrote:Regarding meowmixx, I'm pretty sure they're a 50% roleblocker.
Since everyone else has already done it, yolo I might as well do it to. I'm Alakazam, a disabler. I disabled Meta both nights. The first night I did it because he was being oddly aggressive towards Luv. And then nobody died that night, so I figured I might as well do it again, just in case me disabling him was the reason there wasn't a kill. My chances of success decrease by 25% each successive use on the same target, but this refreshes if I change targets. So last night I was supposed to have a 75% chance of disabling him again. BUT, last night I was kissed and started feeling dazed, followed by stung and feeling sick (poisoned), and my chances of disabling were halved to 37.5% (thus 50% roleblocker).

I can completely see where you're coming from there. My posts this game have been "off" too and haven't really been..uhh...concurrent(?) with most of my other mafia games.
