@ kingdj:
What I'm saying applies to what usually is low funded situations and applies to tobi, steelies and ilbi. If you have insane funding to back you, by all means go fetch yourself some C.ilbi.
However.
Quantity>Quality applies to all those who don't have that kind of money. You claim that more damage = faster kills, and while this IS correct in some situations, I am forced to point out that those situations are when a mere 2 ATT boost can make the difference between 100% x-hitting and some lower percentage. Don't be misconceited, adding 2 Att to your range will not improve it by so much that you can actually 2-hit a monster instead of 3-hit. Also, a friend of mine once did a theoretical test and found that using a Warrior Elixer allows him to get 2%/hour more than he does with, when training. Now, a Warrior Elixer is a 12 Att boost, Choosing steelies over tobi, or ilbi over steelies is a mere 2 Att boost. If we apply the same theory to it, that 2 Att boost will be good for a mere 0.67%/hour boost to your damage. So the quality increase isn't noticable enough to cough up maybe 70 Mill to upgrade your stars when you could have easily gotten bigger boosts for the same money. And having a low amount of stars means you have to go back earlier to recharge, thus losing more time and exp from training.
And about your remark about Lowdex being cheap, you're wrong. Lowdexes are forced to buy good and expensive Dex gear if they want to be any good.
