I've been studying this glitch a little, and I have a conclusion. Read on to the tl;dr if you don't want to read the process.
So I'm a Lumi, and I've been using Morning Star once in a while to help speed up the killing of the bosses. My range, unfortunately, is too low to allow this glitch to become a make/break (e.g. I can't complete Ranked Dojo). What I noticed was that Morning Star actually doesn't work all the time with this glitch, and I've observed this behaviour even before this glitch occured (the glitch made it more pronounced).
Morning Star has a 2-phase attack, a rolling phase (which is all the glitch is about) that pushes back monsters at the same time (very useless unless you pin the boss against a wall, is stationary or if it has a cannotberushed tag), and an explosion phase (meh). What happens with this glitch is that, indeed Morning Star does become very powerful, possibly more powerful than Ender spam in fact. However, once you hit the attacking instance safety limit, all future rolling phases will not trigger, and Morning Star simply lands and explodes, doing the explosion damage only. This is reset only if you change maps.
Wingbeat used to DC people because there were too many attacking instances in one period of time, and the server/client(?) disconnects you thinking that you are hacking. It probably is because you hit the safety limit too many times in a short period of time, or something like that. What's odd is that Wingbeat has a hit cap of 44 (based on Locked's Ultimate Skills Table; could have changed I didn't keep track), and I'm not sure if the glitch now makes Wingbeat attack like Frozen Orb (in any case, making the situation worse because it is spammable unlike the other skills).
Now for the glitch itself. The problem came from 2 observations:
1) the number of instances needed to trigger the safety cap, and
2) the DPS from Morning Star compared to Ender Spam.
The number of attacks needed to trigger the safety cap is around 100-ish without moving. If it's a standard rapidattack skill like Hurricane, then Morning Star should have 4000/120 ~= 33 attacks. That should be 3 casts of Morning Star before the cap triggers. I observed that I can only cast twice (most bosses e.g. in Dojo), and after the second cast, my subsequent Apocalypse cast will be nulled by the cap. The third Morning Star cast will be an explosion-only event, and will persist for the rest of the fight in the same map.
Then comes the damage. Ender spam has always been Lumi's greatest source of DPS, and Morning Star was the poorest source of DPS amongst the 4th job skills, used only to charge up Dark Crescendo.
So what I suspect is that the attacking delay is actually 60ms i.e. twice as fast as a normal rapidattack skill. This should account for the large increase in DPS to approach Ender Spam, and also the 2-cast trigger of the attack limit safety cap.
tl;dr Glitch will break Morning Star on Lumis, and the glitch is more broken than we thought - it doesn't make them a rapidattack skill, but instead hits twice as fast as a rapidattack skill (delay ~= 60ms).

Calculations for DPS, using Booster only, no criticals
