Is it a stretch to say that it's possible to train on typhons from 75 to 120? I'm getting over 50% an hour on 1x at level 75, and I expect the experience rate to increase quite significantly as I put more points into eruption and the level difference gets smaller. I don't see how any other training method (other than leeching) could even match this up to at least 100 and perhaps 120.

When I was mid-11x, Typhons were giving me better solo rates than Newties, so I don't see why not. If you get the HP for Guardians you might want to try them but Typhons would probably be best solo rate late 3rd job otherwise.
