I'm just a lab assistant/intern. Still in college, but I have no idea what I want to do. Didn't get into the program I want to, and I have ~2 weeks to find a new one 
And I can't drop out, cause I have a house/contract there too.... Argh... Sorry about the late reply, was busy. Work is not too bad most days, unless we have a long, messy project. I do most of the grunt work like setup/cleanup, watching reactions, running some tests on the computer. I've gotten pretty good at using DSC and TGA. The only things I can't do is use heavy machinery (safety) and analysis (don't have the degree or brains). Oh, and I'm not remotely interested or good at chem... Been working overtime to make up for the two weeks I missed because I got my appendix removed, but it would take me ~2 months to make it up.
So pretty much, my life is a horrible mess for the most part...
