Polantaris; I can't give you enough 's It is pretty convinent for Luv's power to have targeted Shidoshi and him getting killed. He previously stated that he wanted to control the town votes by going after Shidoshi. Controlling the town is not really something someone pro-town would do, especially when we have no idea who the mafia are. If everyone is forced to vote, there will be little scum hunting to actually find the mafia.

We need more information about Luv's motives to his infections.

[spoiler=Luv's Infecting Record]Night 1: Infects Shidoshi. Shidoshi is killed by Mafia. Unknown if there is a correlation. More motive is needed. Controlling a strong player (in regards to logic/deductions) is very scummy without a clearly depicted motive, because the infected can no longer use their vote to pressure or raise the stakes.

Night 2: Infects VerrKol. Current vote power: 2 Luv's choice to infect VerrKol is a little more obvious. If he believes that VerrKol is scum, it would be the reasonable choice to infect him to cripple the mafia of one vote.

Current Situation:
Given none of the potential infectees and infector die by Town/Mafia hands:
- As of Night 3, Verrkol will infect 1 person (hypothetical Person A), or die. (+1)
- As of Night 3, Luv will infect 1 person (hypothetical Person B), or die. (+1)
- Day 3 vote power: 4

- As of Night 4, VerrKol will infect 1 person (hypothetical Person C), or die. (+1)
- As of Night 4, hypothetical Person A will infect 1 person (Person D), or die. (+1)
- As of Night 4, hypothetical Person B will infect 1 person (Person E), or die. (+1)
- As of Night 4, Luv will infect 1 person (Person F), or die. (+1)
- Day 4 vote power: 8

Luv will have reached majority by Day 4. Even if infected come out and are killed, neither the mafia nor town can contain this unless they act now.

It is most likely that he will be killed during Night 4, if not earlier. While the town benefits because he has declared himself pro-Town, the mafia will definitely consider him a threat.[/spoiler]

Kyrastri; Looks like Shidoshi's was either random or because they were afraid of his deductions. If they left him, it would have been possible he would be lynched for started the Liable vote. Mas was probably lynched because they felt (or knew) he had a strong power. From what I can see at least, it would make sense. Random is also possible.

It was most likely the most reasonable choice given the first day's post (for Shidoshi); he had the power to coerce and convince people to lynch Liable, which is a testament to his persuasion and logic.

As for MasPan, the power theory makes sense, since if Meta was roleblocked it's obvious that the Mafia are trying to contain the potentially powerful speech-restricted players.

For something that you claim to be 100% on I hope you're doing more than just 'voicing your suspicions'.

But the others are right in that you've been posting more than some people but overall have not contributed much. Your previous scumhunting all lacked substantial evidence and relied on meta-gaming, which is surprising since we're already at the second half of Day 3. From what I've seen, you've gotten a little more direction, so that's good I suppose

TheBirds is being quiet again.. but maybe it's his way of surviving.

From his reveal, which I'm inclined to believe, TheBirds has no real motive to post if all he needs to do is survive. It's more than likely that he hasn't thought of anything to contribute, having claimed pro-town, and would rather only speak up when something is amiss. We've seen from his earlier posts that he is willing to talk, and to be generally helpful, but only if it's something that has yet to be brought up.

Kyra, you have to be aware that those reasons can actually intersect. When I was mafia last game, there some planning of the consequences of killing someone, but it wasn't rocket science, specially in the first two, three days.

I guess I've tried to keep theories relatively separate for clarity, but I want you to know that I have considered it. I don't want to muddle everything I've got and end up writing redundant paragraphs, since my posts are already long in comparison to others and I'm a little tight on time now that I have school again.

Overall I'm a little hesitant in lynching people I suppose; in a perfect world I'd want to be sure of the people that I'm voting for. Especially after my guilt fest in lynching Luv last game (QQ sorry man), I think I've given more authority to my gut feeling this game rather than to results. So I'll say now that I don't believe faon to be mafia, but if the odds stack up against him it might become a case where logic prevails again. Generally, I'm going to need more than "he was mafia last game@!" to vote someone who has been so helpful to town off.

I view it as such:
- mafia under the guise of a helpful townie still helps town in discussion; ideally we should all be suspect of each other during discussions regardless unless we have concrete proof (I'm talking death reveal-level concrete). As such, helpful mafia is still better than unhelpful townie/neutral/mafia.

I am very prepared to scoff my words, but that's my view on the 'helpful mafia' situation. Discussion this game has generally been pretty awesome, especially given the confusing nature of this game, and my scum radar hasn't exactly gone blaring off.

I want to know more about the more silents'/vague stances; ultimately I'm incredibly wary of people who post but contribute little to discussion at this point in the game, and I encourage others to do the same.
