Digital Mafia - TOWN WINS

So you got hurt but there were no actual negative effects or restrictions? Wonder what happened then. Maybe whatever action was taken against you didn't work properly or got altered by another ability? Or if you git hurt, it's possible the doctor saved you?

CakesXD; Just read over holypie's first post about the roleblock, I guess that is also a possibility. He said he got hit by energy, which I would assume would hurt him. Did he ever mention pain or anything like that? (I don't think I will be able to go over all his posts at work).

Yup, when I got roleblocked it said I was in a lot of pain and couldn't do anything that night. Sounds like Meta got hit by the same thing.

And sorry about the flip flopping, it seems like whenever I decide to vote for something a big revelation comes up and then I have to choose someone else (like when I voted for TheBirds and then he claimed neutral survivor and pointed out Luv's scumminess, but then Luv comes out as a pro-town neutral so now the only one who seems reasonable to vote for is Chaz, but then he's getting modkilled and then and then and then...). I swear I'm not usually this indecisive.

Oh damn, Luv's power is exponential? Well that's a lot more powerful, he basically gets a guaranteed late game lynch. Basically Kingmaker (Gonna start calling you Ser Criston Cole if it gets to this) if we get to lylo or mylo.

Guys he claimed his wincon was exactly the same as Chaz before he died, including the name of his faction. I don't think he'd be able to make that up. I mean, it doesn't even require survival. I think the Intruders are just meant to pineapple pomegranate up and wreak havoc, unless there's a fourth faction that can claim the exclusive win making everyone (including the Intruders) lose. By the way, I don't think TheBirds is an Intruder.

I don't think Luv is lying, because his role is indeed very powerful. Since he doesn't need to live in order to win, it makes sense to have a suicide neutral with a guaranteed lynch of your choosing. Think about it, Chaz could only get one person to vote as he pleases but Luv can get ALL of us (potentially) at the same time. This would be way overpowered if he could do this more than once (because then he would be the sole dictator of all lynches once he hits a critical mass of infections) so to balance this out he dies after he uses it. He's a botnet. He's going to DDoS us.

faon I noticed you vanished! Nobody noticed me vanish either apparently lol. I'm posting this as I read through so yeah, uh, this post might be a bit messy, sorry. Oh yeah I don't have data so the only way I can actually get to the thread is at the library or Starbucks or on campus.

Luv seriously don't use your power. You have like 3 people infected if my math is right, that's 4 votes for you. Actually that's very powerful. Nevermind. Oh yeah, if the cop has some guilty results it might be nice to have a decent target, right now the only one people want to vote for is Luv, a pro-town neutral. Come on guys. I'm not fishing by the way, this is a pretty decent time for cop to reveal as it's fairly late game and you should have some info by now. If you don't have a guilty don't reveal (of course).

And as for the wishy washy flip flopping, I explained that earlier in the post. I normally don't vote until later in the day but everyone's like guys vote more so I decided to try it and look where it got me ;_;

You can still suspect me (I'm not mafia though [even though that is meaningless I have to say it]), just don't go around ninja-lynching me before I get a chance to defend myself please? I really do want to see a town win here, mafia seems to be really good lately, just killing and deceiving everyone for the past two games.

Yay I found some power outlets! They look really fucking disgusting though so I don't want to use them unless I have to. My battery seems to be lasting a fair bit longer than I thought so that's nice.

@Polantris;, Luv's power isn't to force one person to vote for someone, that was Chaz. Luv's power is to force a SHITTON of people to vote for someone. As his power is so much more dangerous, he has to die afterwards. It's actually a very nicely crafted role. Sounds like it would be a lot of fun to play as. And he did say that when he votes, ALL of the infected must follow his vote. I think a lot of people just missed that or don't understand the power of his role. And he claimed because he started getting accused of being suuuuper scummy. Which he was.

Luv's initial strategy (which I have to say was not a very good strategy) was to infect a bunch of people he thought were townies and force them to vote for someone he thought was scummy. This is why he chose Shidoshi, who was a pretty townie person. This is the same reason the mafia chose to kill him.

Even if he only infects one person a night that's a fairly strong power late game. At something like day 4 he would control the votes of 3 or 4 people including himself, which is FOUR FUCKING VOTES. How many votes made up the Chazwagon, like 5 or less? And by a later day all of the active posters get murderized by the mafia and there's fewer votes to majority. He gets a late game solo quickhammer. That's strong as hell. To be honest it's more of a mafia slanted power but if he controls all of the mafia votes to make them vote off one of their own it's a pretty powerful town sided power as well.

I don't think the Intruders are necessarily intruding in like an aggressive sense. I believe that Intruders are digital entities that are from outside of the village that has been digitized (according to flavour we're all from a village who got digitized, and turns out some of the villagers are assholes). Intruders being that they accidentally happened upon this game, and are now proceeding to pineapple pomegranate up. This makes sense with Chaz the Rogue AI's controlling a single person, and Luv the Worm (computer worm) controlling people en masse.

Shidoshi died because of metagame. The mafia knows that Shidoshi is an experienced player, and the mafia knows that Shidoshi is not mafia. Therefore, in order to prevent him from scumhunting the pineapple out of them, they killed him. I doubt it had anything to do with Liable, other than showcasing his ability to get the town to wagon for someone he (wrongly, but that's beside the point) thinks is suspicious. It's happened to me in RL games before, and frankly it kind of sucks but it's a legitimate strategy for the mafia and it is in their best interest. You also get the converse of this where if an experienced player DOESN'T die the first night, they are likely to be mafia.
