This is why Im split. If the mafia killed maspan despite his restriction they either:
A. Have a mafia cop
B. Just guessed he had a restriction because he had a good power, therefore a reasonable threat despite the restriction
Option A is by far the least likely so lets go from there. Option B means the the mafia just killed him assuming he had a power that needed a restriction. This means that they probably think the same thing about meta, and therefore used an ability on him (potentially a role block)
However Meta has a history of making really high risk high reward plays and this would definitely be one of them, show to have a restriction then pretend to get role blocked to prove innocence and not have to post much and incriminate herself. It would be a very classic high risk high reward move.
