Both sides of your chart are Open World. They're just different types of Open World. You're wrong if you think the right side is exclusively open world. When you have a choice to go where you want, and don't really have any specific direction you are required to go, it is open world, whether you like it or not. You may not like that type of Open World, but that's no one's problem but your own. You've been deluded into thinking that the Elder Scrolls kind of open world is the only type of open world that exists.
GW has VAST OPEN maps. Maplestory's maps are small. Try again.
