Monster hunter, Ace attorney, Dead Rising, Resident Evil, streetfighter, Devil May Cry, could all fit in genres nintendo doesn't really currently have a foothold in.
It's all moot anyway. Nintendo has never bought i.p. and I suspect they never will, when they don't even have the man power to make everything they currently own that gamers are clamouring for. They're much more likely to pay someone to develop an exclusive game ala Sonic recently, or W101/Bayonetta 2. Then again, that idea might go out the window too given how those games all tanked or were just downright bad.(Damnit sega)
This is an unprecedented scenario, because both there's never been a company with so many worthy frachises in the condition Capcom is right now and because this is probably the worst spot a Nintendo home console has been at, if Nintendo has never bought an IP from another console, this is a great opportunity for a first. Yes there are many IP that Capcom has that could fill the gaps in which Nintendo lacks, but at the same time Nintendo is the best making platformers while at the same time we all know the inmense fanbase Megaman has. If Nintendo announced they got Megaman's rights and they will release a megaman game in 2015, there's no doubt the sales would boost enormously.
