Why on earth did you think this would be a good opportunity? Compared to a lot of other things that have been (and continue to be) exploited, glitching Auras is very light. The Battle Mage aura glitch has been around for like 3 years too.
There are still people in the top 10 global rankings who actively bot 24/7, d/c hackers locking people out of their accounts, hundreds of people using hacking tools to meso farm/level up/kill bosses, etc. Having a party skill stuck to your character for a few hours is not even remotely 'serious', especially considering that all of the previous things I mentioned seem to result in no repercussions.
