Before you buy a game, ask yourself two things:
Am I going to play this right now?
and
Would I have bought this game anyway if it wasn't on sale?
If you can't say yes to both of them, don't buy it. There are too many good games to play all the things steam puts on sale and what's the point of buying a game you're not going to play relatively soon? It'll only be cheaper in the future.
