Already burning out a bit on trying to play the Alpha so hard. Mostly obsessing over trying to get characters to learn Alchemy as well as figuring out how to optimize the daily quests so everyone can get to level 2 Alchemy easily. Without the Auction House it really bites. Oh well, just 3 days left so I shouldn't spend that much more time.
As for whether they'll stick to wiping everything but IGN/levels or actually wipe everything, one thing to consider is that regardless of what they do, you could only make 3 characters a day, so people will camp some of your favorite IGNs whether you like it or not. It also means if you wanted an IGN but it's taken, then it's popular enough that others want it too. I can tolerate it if they will wipe everything for real, but I'll still miss out on choice IGNs because even more people will be barging into the Beta to take and hold names. Alpha was as good a time to take IGNs as any.
