The new trainers are pretty close to the emerald designs rather than the original ruby/sapphire.
Lightning Rod and a 4x resistance to electric isn't that bad really. Immunity to paralysis and power moves is a plus too.
I can see why people wouldn't like Swampert but I kind of like the Hulk vibe it is giving of.
I like Mega Diancie, it actually looks nice now. I never liked its original design.
Now to wait for Rayquazas new look.
