He had money, the looks and a "good" family with a somewhat important father... He was just a spoiled kid, a stupid spoiled kid... He could have used A LOT of stuff to work for him, like telling people that he knows jennifer lawrence or the boys from the hunger games movies and use that to get fangirls to be with him, even dating...
I guess that this is more a problem of education than "mental illness" (because now, everyone who does something wrong is mental ill). Parents aren't teaching their kids to be strong and to play smart, most of them are spoonfeeding them and to be honest it's not just the parents but society itself.
Also, I think it was just one woman who broke his heart, specially considering that he was targeting a specific type of women.
