Sigh... I heard way down the road they are doing revamps for status effects. Makes me really want to go at being the strongest MBrawler again, but a friend of mine is convincing me to go back to my god tier summoner qq. Oh the choices this game brings upon you.
By the way, I'd like to say also that in the future every class will be capable of doing well even end game so don't let that stop you from playing what you like. Of course some might be stronger in various ways than others, but you can't perfectly balance everything
