Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

Problem is with dots for d3 is the crit is calculated on cast and never again for the remaining ticks. I don't know why they can't do it like wow with individual crits on ticks.

That's not what I read from a Blizzard-rep post on Reddit (That I'll try to find after I post this). They said that every single tick gets its own chance at a crit. The crit damage never shows because they didn't bother to determine how many ticks / 0.25 seconds is enough to be considered a crit for that set of ticks, and so it never shows anything from DoT damage as a crit, even though each individual tick has its own chance to crit.

I walk away from my PC for 5 seconds and immediately realized that I connected DoT to Channeled and have absolutely no idea why.
