Just beat the game tonight on 100% Hard Mode. As usual, Chapter's 8, 9, and 10 bosses were complete bullpomegranate and stupidly hard until I killed the two small minions, then the fights became extremely easy.
The game took a huge spike upward in difficulty after chapter 9. Every enemy in chapter 10 was capable of doing 100-120+ damage every turn (Sometimes critting for 200-250 damage) and when your entire party, except for a couple, has around 300ish HP, it leads to rather frustrating times. I ended up ignoring probably 80% of the monster battles, because of how dumb they were.
The most frustrating part about Hard Mode was the chapter 9 and 10 boss damage. They both had a "rare" attack that was basically a 1-shot attack for 99% of the party (Basically 400+ damage single target). So glad Onegus basically laughs at everything once you super buff him from his own moves and Tristis' buffs.
Game Over'd 5 times in total, 3 from boss battles and 2 from chapter 10 battles. Going to attempt to finish the rest of the sidequests and whatnot before starting New Game+ tomorrow.
After the crash that occurred for me last night, I took every opportunity after every boss fight to save and backup my save file to a USB flashdrive. Needless to say I never once crashed again.
