Localization for Tales of Hearts R for PS Vita confirmed, (Winter 2014?)
Localized Tales of Xillia 2 release date is set for August 19, 2014 for NA and August 22, 2014 for EU.
Today, they updated Zestiria's official website with the information that was recently in Famitsu.
The front page now shows the tag line of the game "Legend will one day become [Hope]".

Monk's Contract
Monks form contracts with Divine, using their own body as a "Vessel" for the Divine to dwell in, allowing their physical abilities to surpass regular humans, and giving them capability to control Divine Echo Artes.
A contract requires an enormous amount of spiritual power, but above all, requires a pure heart untainted by Defilement. When a Monk forms a contract with a Divine and their body becomes a vessel, it is referred to as a [輿入れ] (This term is used to mean "marriage into the family", but its literal meaning is "to enter a palanquin").
Within the contract, the Divine is referred to as the ｢主」 (master) and the Monk is referred to as the ｢従｣ (subordinate), and the Monk cannot one-sidedly break the contract.
Depending on the Monk's talent, they may be able to form contracts with multiple Divine at the same time.
Contracts with four Divine, one of each element, is regarded as the ideal, but there have historically been few (none?) Monks who have gathered four Divine and accomplished this.

It also mentions that while they are good for setting up combos for allies, they can also be used on her own to create her own combos other characters cannot do.

Lyla starts the game with アンパン (anpan, Red Bean Paste/Sweet Bread), which ends with the syllable (ン/ん, 'n'), which no word can start with, therefore losing the game on the first turn as the starting player. Contextually, this sounds like her trying to resolve some sort of a conflict (i.e. Slay and Mikurio are fighting or something) and she's trying to smooth things over with a game or joke.
