Those are the best monsters you can get under the current "event" (there is a constant "element" event). I also started with U & Y which is almost equal to one of the best leads in the game, kirin

I'd recommend against rerolling for an Andromeda. The "Heroes" series in general requires subs that come from REM in order to build a good team.

Just started, threw five of my free eggs into the rare machine and this popped out

You should aim for a Bastet, Sakuya, Haku, Umisachi & Yamasachi, Kushinada, or a Red Sonia.

They are all good leaders for newbies to get started with in the earlygame, and are still solid if you decide to go into lategame.
