Battlefields of Eternity, there is an event that can spawn which is related to the Time Prisons. It spawns on the west or north side of the map, down a stairway. After opening the prison, lure Emikdeva away. You may need to destroy the pillars that fall if they trap him. Kill any minions that follow you. He chases pretty hard so you'll either have to run fast enough to be able to TP away, or enter a cave and TP back to the Waypoint. Return to the event area and the monsters will continue to spawn until Emikeva dies, which he won't because you lured him away. The monsters spawn at an okay rate. If you have Firewalkers, you can easily just stand there doing nothing and kill things on at least Normal difficulty. My Demon Hunter is capable of doing this on Torment I. Be aware that if you are set to Away for over 10 minutes or so, you will automatically disconnect, so check on it every few minutes by pushing a skill key, or unethically automate the process, which I believe is a bannable offense.
I estimate the drop rate to be about 1 legendary every hour and a half to two hours; this includes my Legacy Puzzle Ring, so I would expect it to be significantly worse without it. This is no better than average gameplay, and likely worse. The EXP rate is supposedly good. Gold rate is pretty terrible, even after selling every rare and blue. I've made a total of 2m in 30 hours. Either case, the effectiveness is in the effort, or there lack of. I have been busy with my Finals the past two days and noticed this exploit, so I've taken advantage of it.
- Automated gameplay is bannable
- Requires constant monitoring if you're not automating
- Requires gear that can kill without active input (Firewalkers, Deathwatch Mantle, Pox Faulds, Schaefer's Hammer, etc) or similar skills (Zombie Dogs)
- Effortless EXP
- Gold income is poor
- Legendary droprate is lower than average gameplay
- In terms of automation, typical character's gear should break after around 6 hours, after which you will die and disconnect. There's a legendary that circumvents this, ironically.
MasPan Wrote:I was wondering what those occasional lag spikes were. There was a patch last night (this morning?) as well, though - I remember being startled when it kicked in at first. In other news, I just got to Act II. Hurray!
Also, General Discussion in-game is apparently full off butts. Tons of spoilers dropped on me before I even realized I was in the chat...
