Asides from it also being able to track Champion Ultimates, I really don't see the problem with it. As Corn already said, it's not hard to manually track Red / Blue / Baron / Dragon timers, especially since we have chat timestamps in the game.
There's also the fact that I believe people think this tracks stuff you don't have vision on, which is not the case.
