I'm taking a list of parts from http://www.logicalincrements.com/ (the $617 row) and buying it, though I need a CD drive and a monitor supported by the graphics card, because my current monitor is absolutely not. I don't know anything about finding compatible parts.
What parts are in your current computer?
The only reusuable parts in this thing are the keyboard and mouse.
How do you intend to use this new part or new computer? What's the heaviest load it's likely to encounter?
It will be for gaming. I don't play any overly CPU intensive games, so heavy loads shouldn't be an issue.
