I think warriors can easily pass on the sprite because it's main advantage is that it serves as a mob attack for low levels that don't pick up mob skills until 2nd. For my windbreaker, I maxed Eye, DS, Critical, and 13 Sprite. This seems to me to be the best build. You could also do 10 focus and 3 sprite, but we all know archers don't need that accuracy and you've already got more dex than usual anyway. Even at upper 5x my sprite's only doing about 300 damage, I mostly keep it out for those boosts mentioned up there. For windbreakers, given how close you need to be for Storm Breath, I think the wind sprite's summon is more useful than you'd imagine. for NWs, same thing; right in the fray with Vampire, so their summons are actually getting to attack.
Personally I find the sprite to be incredibly useful at lower levels but it quickly becomes less and less useful as you level.
