i always assummed the electricity was so that she wasn't absolutely destroyed when using the chain due to terrible knockback (and for more visibility) but yea, magical hollywood ninjas. that said greninja looks pretty fun, i'm a sucker for characters with counters, and unlike lucario's it might seem that greninja's substitute actually has a lot of range. so many whiffs into a smack by ike when playing against my friend ._.
