@dems; You're about to get educated.
Literally, the first sentence of the OP that you are criticizing says
change
/tʃeɪndʒ/ Show Spelled [cheynj] Show IPA verb (used with object), changed, chang·ing. 1. to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone: to change one's name; to change one's opinion; to change the course of history.
2. to transform or convert (usually followed by into ): The witch changed the prince into a toad.
3. to substitute another or others for; exchange for something else, usually of the same kind: She changed her shoes when she got home from the office.
4. to give and take reciprocally; interchange: to change places with someone.
5. to transfer from one (conveyance) to another: You'll have to change planes in Chicago.
The game wasn't always about damage, in fact it was one of the less shallow aspects that players even cared about.
No you see, we want the game to be more focused on less cubes and less bossing and on social interactions like before. How people like you play this game is so fascinating to me. You think the game is about just simply boss beating and funding, you're so brainwashed and naïve that you don't realize how shallow that makes the game.
Yet even when you spend thousands of hours or even thousands of dollars, the company punishes you for it in every possible way, from something as petty as making a newly released boss actually have no drops since it is considered "impossible" to kill, to denying you access to your character. The even sadder part? That you endorse this because you're able to do the only thing the game really offers as content. You have such a selfish view point of power, that you sound absolutely idiotic on your soapbox claming "OH YOU JUST WANT US TO BE POOR AND POWERLESS LIKE YOU, SCRUB", I literally could throw 5 grand down on a character tomorrow, out accomplish anything you've done in the game, just so I could look you in the eye on your fallacy of a high horse, and you would still be in denial that me being able to do that is a bad thing.
I think the answer to your attitude is how maplestory's population has completely dwindled. I know you think the world revolves around you because the only community left is just power hungry addicts who don't care what it takes to get some form of glory to justify your expenses whether time or money, but most people have left because maplsetory is so 1 dimensional now. Theres no adventure, there's no challenge, all the classes are essentially all the same, and the more released the less screen you see doing your skills.
Instead of catering to clearly the minority maplestory should be expanding what made it successful to begin with, not that you would know anything about that, since the only thing you enjoy is gambling on unnecessarily high risks just so you can beat down something with no other reward besides a small amount of in game currency "DERRR I DID IT".
You know what is funny? That you didn't actually read the f`ucking thread when you come in here with your half assed assessment, and end up looking like the biggest fool here.

dems Wrote:things that haven't been here for years. why play a damage based game and care that people care about damage? you want everyone to be unfunded and do what? sit around el nath? do pqs with seemingly no reward for damage or furthering their gameplay options? you want us to load up an rpg and stay in the first half of it because there's people there? this game is a damage based, platform action, 2d rpg. that IS the game. not stay weak and chit chat with friends because that's how parasite thinks the game should be played lol.
