Animal Crossing New Leaf megathread: The economy of Bells, Fruit and Turnips.

I know this game has been out for several months now, but I just bought the game recently. Though, I wonder if you guys are still interested in playing this? I like the long replay and casual aspects of the game, from like the previous ones. It might not make a lot of sense being a simulation game... but whatever :d. Feel free to add me, but let me know first ^^.

Yeah, peaches seem to be the most common starting fruit. I haven't tried it yet, but do you have a chance of getting a different fruit when you mail a fruit native or not, coconuts (?) to your villagers?

I just got back into the game. I had ragequit after losing Zucker due to not playing for a few days last year, but now I restarted my town and have him back thanks to my wife.

I think there's a low chance of getting a fruit not native to your town by mailing them fruit you already have, but I don't know for sure exactly. I want to say I've done it before but I can't remember anymore.
