doffy's power is puppeteering; since when were you under the impression that that's his real body? It's just a doll, of course he can string it back together, he would be a fool to use his real body in such a dangerous world and it would go along with his beliefs and principles quite well for him to take such a precaution.

If that happens, he is literally 1P's Aizen, though.

His power is the string string fruit, although he has used it to be a puppeteer, this is also a possibility. But I feel like laws tragic story wasn't revealed to us for precisely this cliff hanger
