I know it didn't. It did because the real meso farmers (Chinese meso sites) wanted it too. All they have to do is raise their price and everyone else starts raising. It's still 1:8 on certain sites that aren't Chinese-affiliated, but once they notice the meso sites raised it, they will follow.
Not to mention their one secret hot-meso spot was recently nerfed, which is an obvious reason to bump their prices up.
