Double post cause this deserves its own post.
So I started cubing my staff more and land on this with 5 cubes left so I'm like "Okay, I guess that will do for now... I just want to move on to my Inner Ability, I can always come back to it later."

Then I throw the remaining 5 cubes on my Emblem just to see if I can improve it at all and I land on this

God damnit game, why couldn't you have given me that when I was recubing my Emblem from the start? It would've saved so much time and NX.
At least the original potential on my staff wasn't too great, but ugh, this is so irritating.
