A few things I foresee / hope don't happen:
- Certain players exiting the world merge map get stuck in a broken map, requiring a maintenance to resolve the issue and move them out.
- What happens if a player is still inside a merged-PQ if the servers go offline.
- Rare cases of players inventories being wiped.
- An exploit that allows hackers to disable the inventory clearing function/header of the world-merge PQs, allowing items to be transferred between worlds which will result in a large maintenance and possible rollback as depending on how many players pick up items could be dramatic. Hoping this has been handled beforehand.
We already have cross-server functionality in Monster Life. If a player is "there" when servers go offline, they log back in on their own server as usual. So I don't expect problems with that.
Korea already has the inter-server PQ, so bugs with inventory getting wiped etc should have already been addressed.
As for hacks and exploits... GMS does have more of those, so I definitely foresee trouble.
