1) It was a blog not a thread.

2) You used the word perception, which is having a cognitive understanding of something, which you can't really have without having all the variables laid out. Therefore your pass behavior matters as it affects your reputation.

3) And should I take your shoes into a losing battle? That argument doesn't work here because I'm talking about your reputation/credibility, which can be accurately measured, fairly easily. The last discussion is about how "sophisticated" those two types of entertainment were, stating that popularity doesn't necessarily mean masterpiece.
