I actually dreamed about playing maple last night and well, it sucked.
I was instantly hooked onto that bullsh'it sense of 'oh i must commerci. oh i must magnus, oh i must farm. oh i suddenly have so many obligations in a game thats meant to be played while im ignoring my real world obligations'
Don't do it. You could be spending your time on something else, learn to cook something nice, read a book, pick up a hobby or something. The value of maplestory is determined by the player and theres a whole load of other things that sane people would regard as 'better' to dump time into.
