And damn, I have been ignoring all the comments of Minato being turned into fodder/minor character until now, but he literally went to that to prevent Guy from getting hit. I'd expect his body being in shambles after that and only his talking head resting on the ground for whats left of manga.

Could he have teleported them away to a different location from where he teleported after that?
