i spoke about chaos vellum specifically being different because in a party of 6, three players had more than 01 lives, and three players had 00 death count; and none of us saw any quote root abyss armor - non shared loot - drops quote. this is inherently different from the other three bosses where at least the one person alive killing will see loot.
P.S. when talking about boss loots...OBVIOUSLY i mean the non generic ones... i mean come on, OBVIOUSLY. smh
Killing queen/pierre will revive anyone dead in the map, yes. And those people WILL get drops from the chest, because, surprise! they're alive when the drops come out. In von bon and vellum, drops come out on kill and that's a different story. If you are dead when either of the latter two bosses die, you will not get any instanced drops. Unless it was changed recently, and I highly doubt that.
