Since FA works on 1 monster even with mobbing skills, this seems like a very insignificant problem. In contrast, half or more of BM's damage while bossing comes from AB + AFA. The class is literally crippled without it.
I'm not saying the issue shouldn't be fixed, but complaining about it lacks perspective on the issue at hand.
thought i ninja'd your post, except for the timestamp. not sure why you didnt read my other response;
cursebite does work on bosses; i understand how crippled bowmasters are/were; afa is a mechanic that almost every class has. i am referring to the speed in which a single problem is identified and corrected. how can you call a problem your own class is having "insignificant", especially when it is being addressed? it appears perspective lacking goes both ways.
since when do status ailments not affect bosses? are you sure we are playing the same game? bosses can be darkness, sealed, crashed, poisoned, slowed, and even 'frozen' (frozen status applied counters while not actually stopping movement).
Reddish; Slow effect is reapplied with subsequent attacks, but it seems like you're suggesting (similar to magic crash or bind cooldown) a boss cannot be slowed again until the initial effect wears off? Since CurseBite cancels nearly immediately, it wont reapply until its duration expires, until it is immediately reapplied. disappointingly ironic, since gigas wave, wing beat, and stone dragon all used for extended bossing, all give slow effect.
do you know if CurseBite also removes/effect-cancels other status like darkness? if i use a poison weapon, will CurseBite properly activate?
