Knights of Cygnus Skill Tables

Upon implementation, to create a Knight of Cygnus, you will select "Create New Character." Now, instead of going straight to the Character Creation menu, you will be presented with the "Race Select" screen. Here, it will give you a summary of the benefits and weaknesses of both the Knights of Cygnus and the "Adventurers", the term for the original 5 classes. Basically, Cygnus get powerful faster, but they hit their maximum level quickly since it is much lower. Adventurers get powerful at a slower rate, but due to 4th job and a higher maximum level, they end up being much more powerful in the long run.

Once you select that you wish to create a Cygnus, you will see a modified version of the standard Character Creation screen (Ereb-themed instead of Ellinia.) By default, Cygnus have a pale skin tone, though this may change in GMS since skin tone selection is not possible at all in KMS. Once the character is created, it will appear in a Tutorial section of Ereb, just like Maple Island's Tutorial. From here, things proceed normally.

This is the first version. I will be adding on to it until it's complete and then continually updating it afterward with KMST changes.

 Original Cygnus Creation method

Originally, to create a Knight of Cygnus, you must have one character above level 20 (from here on referred to as "The Parent".) To create the Noblesse, or Cygnus Beginner, simply speak to Nineheart, the Empress's tactician, in Ereb. The character creation menu comes up, just as though you are creating an ordinary character. Once the Cygnus is completed, you may log out and log back in, then select the Noblesse on the same server as the Parent. Additionally, even in the case of 4th job skills they may possess, they do not need Mastery Books.

March 28, 2009:
-Cygnus have gone through a rather large change in that Parent Characters have been eliminated. The intro was rewritten to accommodate these changes, and some skill descriptions for Noblesse have also been changed.

Blessing of the Sprite
Description: Increases your Weapon Attack, Magic Attack, Accuracy and Avoidability.
Comment: The level of this skill is directly proportional to the level of your highest character aside from this one. The job of the character is irrelevant; if you have a level 120 Cygnus and a level 110 Cygnus, the level 120 will get level 11 Blessing, and the level 110 will get level 12 blessing. This would also be true of a 120 Adventurer and a 110 Cygnus, or of two Adventurers. For every 10 levels of the character, you get one point into the skill. A level 129 Character gives 12 points on the Cygnus, but a 130 Character gives 13 points.

Description: Hurls snail shells to attack monsters from long distance.
Comment: This skill no longer consumes Snail Shells, for Beginners or Noblesse.
