I enjoyed the episode a lot.
Spoiler
The stand-off between Clementine and Carver alone in the cabin was intense as hell. She was holding her own until Carver found the photograph of Sarah. I literally said "Oh pomegranate" when that happened.
I wonder if there was a way to stop Nick from shooting Matthew? It's depressing that after meeting so many people who end up being assholes, you think "Surely this guy can't be that nice" and so you feel really bad when he dies. Then it's made even worse when Walter starts talking about how kind he is and stuff. Also I found it weird that everyone kept calling Walter and Matthew "friends" when they were clearly more than that, Walter even specifically calls him his "partner", and the way he looked at the picture before he died
I can understand Clementine not understanding and therefore calling them friends, but everyone else? not so much.
I decided to tell the truth regarding Matt's death, because Nick got some fantastic character development in this episode. Even though he killed Matt, he only did it because he thought they were in danger, and he instantly regretted it, and the conversations you had with him really shows his remorse. I've grown to like his character quite a lot.
Fucking Bonnie. that is all. the next episode preview shows her smiling with Clementine, which is interesting. I never had much sympathy for her in 400 days, and I like her even less now. If you played the DLC, you knew instantly she was lying when she said she has a family.
during the final stand-off, Walter and Alvin died, which sucked. It was great to see that Alvin wanted to protect Rebeccah despite Carver's claims at being the father. Speaking of Rebeccah, she was a much better character in this episode, and her heart-to-heart with Clementine was quite sweet.
I still don't like Kenny. the next episode preview showed him being pissed off at Clementine for giving up, but pineapple him, I don't care what he thinks.
On a side note, there seems to hints that Nick and Luke are a bit more than friends, I mean Luke is always looking out for Nick and is always the one to drag Nick away to talk him down. They had a big hug and lots of touching after Nick found Pete. Nick gave Luke a longing look when he was told to stay behind when Luke and Clem were going to cross the bridge, and then he did something stupid and impulsive when he thought Luke was in danger. and then Kenny even says that the two of them are a good match and when they get all defensive he's like "you just seem like realllllly good friends is all". Nick also spoke rather flirtatiously to Luke, asking if he was going to "tuck him into bed".
I dunno, maybe it's just me with my Ho-Yay Shipping Goggles on, but the subtext seems to be there.
