Ok, Emolga and Dedenne had secondary types, but that's still pretty crap, as Dedenne learns a whole 2 fairy moves and emolga only learns one flying move (Acrobatics) by leveling as opposed to 9/8 electric moves respectively
You'd just be redirecting the same complaints anyways. It's bound to be: "Oh it's just a grass pikachu. If they were gonna make a grass pokemon couldn't they make it unique and.... [continue complaint here]"
