Sonic Boom + The New Sonic Cast?

I thought the silhouettes looked bad enough but those designs I only have one word. Ew.

I can totally forgive them though if the gameplay is good. That's the only thing Sonic needs a good game. Since both games are being developed by someone else then we may actually get one for a change.

That's where I'm at. Despite [insert everything everyone has already mentioned], if the game actually has solid controls then I will be willing to give it a shot.
And just like you said, someone else is developing it, so there is actually a sliver of hope that the game wont be ruined by some bad gameplay decisions.
