icephoenix21; idk, as a good person, if I was to make this, I'd think "Hey, let's make an awesome, love-filled commercial for people to enjoy. Something that really encompasses what America as a whole truly is." I'd expect a good response, maybe the obligatory racist person, but these kind of responses are just ignorant. I think it was expected, but not made out of that expectation.
It's hard knowing motives for sure, but good person =/= business move...kinda like the recent issue with the anti-gay pasta company, thus resulting in other pasta companies showing their support for homosexuality.
"Good" intentions aside (and taking a neutral standpoint on the entire issue), I call it corporate greed using business tactics to get more sales.
