Corrupt a wish thread!

Granted, but you can't turn them off. You now compulsively control the entire world's population and try to manipulate them to your own benefit. After years of unsuccessful attempts to create a happy relationship, you commit suicide and the world rejoices.

I wish I knew if aliens were real.

You know, but all the intelligence agencies in the world are after you.

I wish that when obtaining randomly determined items (opening card packs, getting loot in games) I always get something I find useful (and I don't get banned for hacking/cheating/whatever).
