Just got 9,000 posts, also just over 5 years since I joined SP

I remember the days when people used to give a pomegranate about post count if it was viewed with your posts.

Quite glad that nonsense isn't here (for the most part).

I think the last thing it happened was when I made a thread about Takebacker getting his 10,000th+ post or something. Or was that 9,000th+? I forget, it was years ago.

But yeah, post count here is more of a number than an ego contest. If you post a lot, you post a lot. Too many other places it gives a sense of authority. "Oh snap that guy has over 20,000 posts. I better listen to whatever he says!"

we should have reputation appear with the posts, so more people use that!

It'd be way too much clutter at that point to stare at one tab.
